Constructive Use of Tables

Table Basics

This page gives an introduction to table HTML. It shows you how to place images and references within table cells.

What Else Can We Put
in a Table?

This page shows you how to place a form in a table as well as how to make three kinds of horizontal bar graphs and place them in a table. These graphs can be built on the fly and do not involve writing a gif file. Consequently, they may provide easy answers to CGI scripts which need to return graphs.

Overlaying with Tables

This page shows you how to overlay text and graphics by using tables. The Macintosh browser does not space radio buttons in the same way so not every think will line up exactly the same as it does for the Windows browser with which this page was developed.
